It’s the cat’s pajamas stopping by Bee’s Neez

When mother-daughter duo Jeannette Magin and Jessica Quayle couldn’t agree whether to open a coffeehouse or an ice cream parlor, they compromised and created Bee’s Neez Cones & Coffee.

“We sell ice cream sundaes that inspire people to use more creativity,” Quayle said. “At the same time, we also offer a safe space for parents to bring their children and still enjoy a cup of coffee where the kids can play.”

The novelty eatery at 20210 Stone Oak Parkway, Suite 106, debuted earlier this year.

Featuring a glitter path, hand-decorated, marble-styled tables with gold, purple and blue sparkles, the shop even has a Salvador Dali-inspired melting clock.

“This is like all of my childhood fantasies come true,” Quayle said.

She and her husband were tossing around names when he said “cat’s pajamas.” She thought it was silly and instead offered “bee’s knees,” which stuck.

Whimsical ice cream treats range from the Dirt Sundae with crushed Oreos and gummy worms to Spaghetti & Meatballs, which is vanilla ice cream resembling noodles, plus strawberry sauce and chocolate “cheese.”

“It’s a very kid-friendly ice cream menu and we do fun spins on our coffees, too,” Quayle said.

Vegan options are available, including egg-free and nondairy doughnuts from Cake Thieves. The parlor is also a nut-free zone.

“We do birthday parties that are all custom-tailored for everyone’s budget,” Quayle said.

Hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. weekdays, and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. weekends.
