Authority Chiropractic staffers aim to make aches and pains disappear by using state-of-the-art equipment to provide relief.

Thor Woerner and his wife, Aubrey, a former physician assistant in neurosurgery, opened Authority Chiropractic not long ago at 19141 Stone Oak Parkway, Suite 506.

An introduction to chiropractic health care for Thor Woerner came while playing football for Abilene Christian University. From there, he decided to serve the community by educating patients on how to maintain a healthy body and life.

The couple settled on the Stone Oak area as a great place to debut their business.

“We wanted to be somewhere where we can make an impact, but with the type of chiropractic that we do on the greatest amount of people that we can reach,” Thor Woerner said.

“I have seen the unfortunate side of what happens to people when they don’t take care of their body,” Aubrey Woerner added.

Services are available for both adults and children.

Thor Woerner uses a Torque Release Technique via a device called The Integrator, which helps restore the nervous system’s proper functions.

The instrument utilizes the body’s reflexes to locate the primary misalignments causing interference, he added.

“Having the tools, the information and the opportunity to help people heal is a very wonderful thing,” Woerner said.

Hours are 9 a.m. to noon and 3-7 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, plus 3-6 p.m. Tuesday.
