BOERNE — Last fall, Cibolo Creek Brewing Co. — a family-owned and operated brewpub — made its debut at 448 S. Main St.
General manager Josh Mazour moved back home from Austin to run the business. Beer is crafted on the premises.
A batch of seasonal brews makes seven barrels, or 15 gallons, every two to three weeks.
The local favorite is the Smoked Sriracha Double India Pale Ale. Also popular recently is a blonde ale with fresh peaches.
Windy Hill Foods provides sustenance for the restaurant portion of the pub. The beef is grass-fed and hormone-free; the grass-fed chicken is cage-free and without hormones.
Staffers strive to make the atmosphere at Cibolo Creek casual, family- and pet-friendly.
Patrons can enjoy a cozy supper inside the Victorian home, at picnic tables on the patio or in the backyard.
“If you want to meet with your neighbor or friend here for a few beers, or have dinner with your family, it’s a spot for either one,” Mazour said.
Cibolo Creek is the place to go for a good brew made by local folks, he added.
