Witte President and CEO Marise McDermott and Susan Naylor — a trustee of the Witte, CEO of the Will Smith Foundation and a presenting sponsor — welcomed guests for an evening of underwater adventures.

The 100 Club Annual Heroes Luncheon honored Benjamin Marconi, John Anthony “Rocky” Riojas and Mario Moreno, first responders who lost their lives in the line of duty.  Emcee Ernie Zuniga and The 100 Club of San Antonio President Richard Miller, along with Police Chief William McManus and Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar, addressed the crowd at Pearl Stable. There was not a dry eye in the house when Fire Chief Charles Hood spoke about the tragic loss of Firefighter Scott Deem in May.

The Junior League of San Antonio recently elected Celina Montoya as president.  She, along with 84 new members, are gearing up for some great events such as Holiday Ole Market, the !Viva! SA Race and everyone’s newest favorite, Casino for a Cause.
