FAIR OAKS RANCH’S WILDLIFE EDUCATION COMMITTEE RECENTLY GAVE $1,000 EACH to Fair Oaks Ranch and Van Raub elementary schools to help pupils continue their nature studies. The money will be used to build a chicken coop for the Life Skills program at Van Raub. Meanwhile, at Fair Oaks Ranch, the funds will establish a hands-on demonstration room for the natural-wildlife program and to maintain a garden. The plants are part of a research project to grow deer-resistant flora.
